NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS asked:

Hi I just bought a camera and it did not arrive yet I just had some quetions about it. It is called the Pansonic AG-160. The person I bought it from said it was a professional camera but I do not think it is broadcast at all. Maybe industrial use? When was it made which year? Also is it a tube or ccd camera and if it is a tube which one? He said it had a white balance feature on it but I do not this a consumer camera from 20 plus years ago would have one on it. Also he said it was about 20 years old but I read somewhere else someone said it was from the 1980′s so I am not sure. I know it may not have a color bar generator on it. Does anyone know in the early to mid 80′s what was a good camera for broadcast use out in the field? Ikegami maybe but which models? I am looking for a cam with a color bar generator and that is tube portable from the early to mid 80′s. Also could be late 70′s too or mid 70′s. Anything good? Also once the tubes are shot how hard are they to replace? Thank yous so much!

weakestlink11 asked:

I hired a contractor to do some exterior remodeling and paid him up front. However, weeks went by and no work was done. When I finally was able to reach him, he said that he did come to do the work but could not find an exterior electrical outlet in which to plug his power tools. I asked if he had a portable gasoline powered generator. Instead od answering directly, he indicated that it was my responsibility to provide the electric power he needs to run his tools. I work during the day, so to meet his demand would require me to leave the house open to a man I don’t really know. Besides, my house isn’t wired for 220 V equipment – he’d end up blowing the circuit breaker. He said unless I find some way to give him access to my electric system, he cannot do the job. My actual question is am I expected to provide electric power for a contractor?
